HIATUS

I have to say that due to some changes in my life recently, I might not post for a long while. I have not read in some time and adulting life is catching up with me now that I graduated. I promise that soon I will find a pace and start to blog again. For now, everything that is being posted was scheduled from a long time ago. See ya!

UPDATE: I'm really trying to find a better pace. I am reading more than before, but I need to find time to actually review and post more. I think you might see more posts, at random, that have not been scheduled from way before. Anyways, enjoy, and I'll be back soon, hopefully.

Memes

Hiya! For those of you who don't know about the memes I post and what they are... here is a list and a brief description of them. Under them are challenges that I created for myself, to force me to create posts and not to leave alone my blog too much time. Red strike-throughs are failed challenges, and black ones are completed.
Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week they will post a new Top Ten list that one of their bloggers over at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join!

2016 Challenge: post at least two top ten Tuesdays per month. COMPLETED
2017 Challenge: to post one or two every month. COMPLETED
2018 Challenge: to post one every month.

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating. I will try to post the most nearby book to be released that I'm (not) so patiently waiting for and if I don't post anything a week, well, there wasn't anything cool for me that week. But there may be a case that I post more than one book, I never know.

2016 Challenge: post every Wednesday, without missing one. COMPLETED
2017 Challenge: post every Wednesday of the year. COMPLETED
2018 Challenge: post every Wednesday of the year.

hosted by Gone with the Words

Ohhh! You know, and if you don't you'll know now, that I LOVE, love, LoVe music. Just as I live and breathe words, I live and breathe music. Those two things are just part of me as any other organ in my body. As you can see in my Music page, I hear music while reading! My Thursdays will become from now on... Thursday Tracks day! A feature created to share what song, album, playlist, artist I got stuck in my head every week.

2016 Challenge: post every Thursday, without missing one. [started on may] COMPLETED
2017 Challenge: post every Thursday of the whole year FAILED

Created by Freda's Voice. Rules are simple! Grab a book, any book. Turn to page 56 or 56% in your eReader. (If you have to improvise, that's ok.) Find any sentence, (or few, just don't spoil it). Post it. Add your (URL) post below in Linky in Freda's Voice blog. Add the post URL, not your blog URL.

2016 Challenge: post at least one Friday 56s per month. FAILED
2017 Challenge: to post one every month.

Book Issues is for me to vent every problem I have related to books. The issues can be very small or very big, depends on my mood. Maybe you can have the same problems as me, or maybe not... so many maybes that I will stop in those two. Some problems have solutions, others... not so much, but it helps to vent everything, right?

2016 Challenge: post at least one book issue every two months. FAILED
2017 Challenge: post issues every two months or monthly.

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, which is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. You can read more about the creation of Stacking the Shelves by visiting the official launch page here.

2016 Challenge: post at least one stacking the shelves per month. FAILED
2017 Challenge: post every two months. FAILED

The title says it all, right? But to be clear, in these kinds of posts I express my opinion about the movie that was made thanks to a book that I did read.

2017 Challenge: to post one every two months.

DISCONTINUED MEMES, BUT YOU CAN STILL SEE MY POSTS

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following: Grab your current readopen to a random pageshare two “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page; BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!); and Share the title & author, too, so that other people can add the book to their TBR lists if they like your teasers!

2016 Challenge: post at least one teaser per month. FAILED
2017 Challenge: post at least one teaser per month.
2018: Discontinued.

From the book you’re currently reading, or one you just finished, tell us what made you SWOON. What got your heart pounding, your skin tingling, and your stomach fluttering.

Shout it out on Twitter with the hashtag #YABound, post it here in the comments, or grab the steamy button and share it on your blog. We want to know!

2016 Challenge: post at least one swoon Thursday per month. FAILED
2017 Challenge: to post one every two months.
2018: Discontinued.

Dress Up That Cover is a feature created by Kim [Divergent Gryffindor] where you create an outfit based merely on the cover, not the story nor what the characters would wear. Colors of the outfit will all be taken from the cover design so the books can be ones that you haven't read yet. All sets will be created via Polyvore.

2016 Challenge: post at least one dress up that cover per month. FAILED
2017 Challenge: to post one every two months.
2018: Discontinued.
