[R] A Radiant Sky, by: Jocelyn Davies

A Radiant Sky
(A Beautiful Dark #3)
by: Jocelyn Davies

★★★½☆

Since the night of her seventeenth birthday, Skye has been torn between two opposites: Light and Dark, the Order and the Rebellion, Devin and Asher.

But her decision shocked both sides—because she chose neither.

With the help of her friends, Skye forges her own path, setting out to gather an uprising of Rogues. The treacherous and elusive half-angels may be the key to maintaining the balance of fate and free will. But completing the mission her parents left unfinished is more difficult—and dangerous—than she could have imagined. And doing so comes at a cost: Her greatest love may now be a lethal enemy. Because it’s not just the Order that sees her as a threat who must be eliminated. The Rebellion does, too.

And both sides will do whatever it takes to win.

Dark days lie ahead, and if Skye is to survive, she’ll need to rely on her extraordinary powers and the strength of her will. Because she has a future—and a love—that’s worth fighting for.

It was okay, with the perfect ending, but still okay, nothing more. I loved how fierce Sky was, but I hated how Asher just walked away and he was not in the entire book. I hate the deaths, because I didn’t want them to die. But I love the ending so… I guess I’m okay with it? Never mind.

Our friend, Skye, didn’t chose a side. She made a new group called the Uprising, which leaves the Order and the Rebellion as her enemies. Which makes Asher and Devin her “enemies”. I hate all that shit, I got confused so many things… ugh. Asher walked away, but not without promising to come back with way for Skye and he to be together. Skye’s mind is chaos. She have doubts about everyone, including herself. How will everything will end? You got to figure out by reading the book!

About the deaths, well, I do not want to spoil you, but you will be surprised. I didn’t really thought that he would die, neither she. Everyone was so happy about the end, until they died. Shit! I hate deaths. I keep trying to figure out why they must have to die, but I got no clue. I want them to live and to enjoy the new system, which includes freedom alongside with chaos and order. A balance! I want them all to be happy, is that much to ask?
“I don’t think that when you love somebody, it ever really goes away. It’s like riding a bike. You can decide you don’t like bike riding any more, and do soccer for a while, but then when you get back on a bike, it’s like your body remembers how to do it without you even having to think about it. I think love is like that.”
As I said in the last book, these books were some amazing to okay. I expect something more, but it just stayed in the middle. I would love to know more about them, but I think that’s all of the story and I didn’t hate it that bad. You read it under your own will.
