Ari and Janco deal with a Sandseed Story Weaver and a cocky young soldier while Valek is off helping Yelena.

You know, this is a really short story. Mine had 56 pages and yours could be less, so you should not have any excuses to read it. If your excuse is that you don't have it with you to read it... to bad, Ms. Snyder have it in her blog for everyone who wants to read it.

This story is very funny and it have action. You could say that its in Janco's POV, but it have some parts in Ari's. They have an stupid magical problem with a "cocky" young soldier, Rye. Valek and Yelena are not near, so the problem must be solve by Janco and Ari.

The story begins with a large line of soldiers ready to beat Janco, Ari or Maren. Thanks that those three beat Valek, whoever who beat them can try to challenge Valek. The list is long, but in that line is Rye, which he win against Maren. Now, Rye's weapon is not common. His weapon is from Sitia and later on they discover that it have magical powers of its own. The thing is that Janco and Ari must reach Rye, who escaped, and take that weapon from him or... worst things will happen, blah, blah, blah.

Characters. As always Maren is a tough chick and with brain. I like her, not that much, but I do. We have a new one called Bour Sandseed, which as you can see in his name, is from Sitia, an Story Weaver and its from the Sandseed clan. He is there to help Ari and Janco, by others from Yelena and Valek, but I could say that Stripey (the nickname Janco give him... I know -.-') did not use the best way to make new friends. Ambush plus using illision against Janco and Ari was not the best way. I could say that the antagonist was the sword thingy, but if I was suppose to pick a person, then is Rye. Who we can see that is a trouble kid, with trouble feelings. AND the best characters for the end. Ari & Janco! What a wonderful pair. They are like an old married couple... always fighting with themselves and rambling. Could they agreed in something once? I cannot believe it. Janco is very cocky and Ari is very... smart, you could say, but protective.

My favorites parts of the story were all the Janco ones and Valek's disorder. Did he know how to put in order his records and papers? Jezz! I was wondering if Janco has a brain. He always think without it, but I answer that questing thanks to this story. He has one. Now, can Janco be more humble? *sarcastic* Gosh! His ego is very strong and big. Why is he always rambling? Even in his thoughts is rambling everywhere. PLUS funny, he win me with all his jokes. I seriously laugh at everything. He even make up the name Stripey for the Sandseed man. The most hilarious thing... Janco blond. LOL.

At the end, they made the day! :)
xoxo, sam.
